This book deals with identification of the common and diverse organisms occurring in these productive coastal habitats. The work is a compilation of the author's field studies dating back to the 1970s. The study of diversity starts with the identification of the organisms in major ecosystems. There is not one comprehensive reference that one could use for the purpose, hence we are hopeful this book will fill this void.
