After Irma After Harvey: A Fundraiser on Behalf of Animals
Someone assessed the damage after the storms have surged. Hurricanes Harvey and Irma together would cost over $200 billion, they say. As for human lives, Irma, the stronger of the two, claimed 23; Harvey, 70. And the animals? Unless rescued, those that lived in water should have gotten stranded; those on the ground (or left tethered_ would have been displaced, or worse, perished. They have never seen anything like Harvey or Irma before, they say. "The strongest hurricane to hit the US in more than a decade" and "the stronger Atlantic hurricane in history," respectively, according to reports.
